Bake Point Node

Mari Bake point nodes in The Foundry Mari 3.3 is a powerful way of optimizing your node graph. In this Mari in 5 tutorial we look at the way I use the bake point and how we can nest bake point nodes, bake them in turn downstream of the connected nodes. We also look at how we can export baked result out from a bake point node.


If you want to export the result from a bake point node into exr you can use this string in the export dialog.
where $NODE would take the name from the selected bake point node and the variable $UDIM would handle the numbering of the udim sequence.
